Job Description

Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science. While all disciplines within computer science will be considered, preferred areas of specialization are cybersecurity, systems, and networking.


Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science with a teaching load of 3 courses per semester. There will be also be opportunities to teach in our innovative the University Interdisciplinary Studies program. Candidates should show a willingness and ability to employ technology in teaching. Additionally, candidates will be expected to remain active in creative/scholarly pursuits and seek opportunities for peer-reviewed publications. Successful applicants will be expected to participate in departmental and school committees, advise students, and contribute to student recruitment and retention.

Required Qualifications

Essential are excellent teaching, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. The commitment and ability to recruit new undergraduate students is crucial. Candidates should hold a doctorate in computer science or related field. Applicants who are ABD and will have earned their doctoral degree by date of employment will also be considered.
