Position Summary

Assumes responsibility for developing schedules, actively recruiting students, preparing weekly lessons/classes, and providing educational leadership in all areas of expertise for the Hartt Community Division (HCD). Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.

Key Responsibility
Description of Key Responsibility

Prepares lesson plans and teaches subject matter expertise to students of all ages at the HCD. Actively participates in the recruitment of students by visiting schools, providing detailed information relative to HCD offerings and teaching Master Classes to interested students. Supports the retention of students by offering exceptional lessons which promote a sense of community, build on-going relationships with the students and parents and provide recommendations regarding opportunities and options to further their studies with HCD. Administers programs as necessary and appropriate.
